It’s very comfortable—I’ve nodded off in it more than once while glassing. For reference, I’m a little over 250 lbs and it held up without any flex or issues.

What I noticed about the ridge chair compared to other chairs I’ve used while hunting and being outdoors backpacking and camping is how rigid it is compared to other hunting chairs. The thicker frame and adjustable legs definitely make a difference when glassing on a hill with a slight slope to it.

The Ridge Chair is a great glassing tool. It stows away that it is barely noticeable in a pack and me being 270 pounds holds my weight with ease. An everyday essential in my pack when I know I am going to spend time behind glass.

Oh man! It’s so nice to glass in comfort! With back support!!! I find that using this chair and being comfortable leads to being able to be really thorough and patient with glassing….turning up more critters.
